Decoupage Stamping – Peacock stamp for Creative Stamping magazine
Hello, I have a set of cards that are appearing in the latest issue (#25) of Creative Stamping magazine, and over the coming few weeks I will be blogging them for you.
The magazine comes with a complimentary A4 sheet of clear stamps, and it was my brief to show how the images can be stamped and decoupaged to add dimension to your cards/projects. I have a bit of addiction where stamps are concerned, and these ones are really up my street they are gorgeous, and stamp beautifully.
If you have bought the magazine and tried the stamps out yourself leave a comment for me with your link, I’d love to pop over and see.
Here the Peacock, has 5 layers. I stamped the image multiple time and coloured them each identically, before using fine scissors and cutting into the intricate detail of the stamp. I love the swirls of the tail, and fabulous to colour with your favourite medium, getting the graduated colour.
As an idea, you could stamp the image many times and just cut out the tail swirls and arrange them on your project as embellishments….as stampers we are always looking at ways to make the most of our stash.
Thanks for popping by.
